After waiting patiently through 2 days of weather-cancelled flights, the big day finally came for Joe to go up with his instructor, Jan Gordon, for his first flight.
Preflighting Cessna 150 "32Golf". First of two preflights....32Golf was balky starting, so they ended up in the little yellow Aerobat "50Mike", which is Joe's favorite plane.

Off into the wild blue yonder! 50Mike lifts off and gives me a wing waggle as I stood on the end of the runway.
Joe at the controls! Off to Lena Point to practice some maneuvers.
